It all began in 2018…
Specifically it all began in January of 2018. Adam had just married the love of his life, Michelle, and they took off to Hawaii for their honeymoon. After a few glorious days exploring the beaches of Hawaii and soaking up the sun things suddenly took a turn.
On the morning of Saturday, January 13, 2018, a ballistic missile alert was accidentally issued via the Emergency Alert System and Commercial Mobile Alert System over television, radio, and cellphones in the state of Hawaii. The alert stated that there was an incoming ballistic missile threat to Hawaii, advised residents to seek shelter, and concluded: "This is not a drill".
After seeking shelter and seeing his life and the the life of his wife flash before his eyes he realized what was truly important in life; time spent with loved ones: friends and family.
Up until that moment, Adam had enjoyed a culinary career of 15 years working for other people; some of the most prestigious country clubs and five star restaurants. However, this scare in Hawaii ignited something inside him.
It was at this point in his life where he vowed to do something that truly made him happy while bringing happiness to others.
In late 2018, he went out on his own and started Perfect Strangers Boston.
Since founding PSB we have set out to make a difference in the private chef and events world by doing our very best to give our clients a night to remember filled with laughter, quality time with friend and family, and excellent food.

The pineapple also serves as a constant reminder to the reason and motivation that made us start Perfect Strangers Boston. It represents that time in Hawaii where Adam realized what was truly important to him and his life.
